It has been quite a while since I last wrote anything, life has been crazy. It has been just over a year since the Pandemic known as Covid-19 hit our world. Life is so different than we knew before 2020. There are many sad days of missing loved ones due to this invasive virus, both in having to distance and in loss of life. If you have been hit directly with the loss of someone, I extend to you my heart in prayers. We may know each other personally, or we might have never met, but I believe that God loves and sees us all, so when I pray for you, He will know who I am talking about.
I was thinking this morning that the pandemic has hit everyone’s life somewhat the same and yet situations are different for many. I wanted to write to you and ask how you are doing? How can I pray for you? Leave a comment how I can pray for you, if it is too personal to put “out there” then just give me your name… I will pray. … I promise and He will know what is going on for you.
Keep in mind that even in the darkest of storms there is hope for sunshine. The rain doesn’t pour for ever, and the roar of the thunder doesn’t pierce the sound waves unending. These days that may seem hard will have and end, but until that time look for the good in the day…there is some there. Somedays we have to look a bit harder than others, we all know that. Be the sunshine in someone’s life today by extending a smile, or a note, or a phone call, you will be surprised how it helps you too. If you are lonely, or sad, tell someone, call someone, don’t try and do it alone. If you need help finding a Crisis line in your part of the world, call your nearest hospital or church and they will direct you to someone who can help.
In the bible times loneliness existed and there were cries to God in those times too. Psalms 25:16 is an example.
“Turn to me and be gracious to me,
for I am lonely and afflicted.” Psalms 25:16
Know that God is listening and waiting to hear your heart and that He loves you deeply.
“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted
and saves the crushed in spirit.” Psalms 34:18
Let me know how I can pray for you. It would be my privilege to take you in pray to my Heavenly Father. You too can pray to Him, be open, be honest… no fancy words necessary… let Him hear your heart… He is listening.
